Let me try to make it simple because technically there are two different seasons for Red Snapper.

June 1 2022 through August 19 2022 ( August 18 is the last day to catch and keep Red Snapper)

First you have Red Snapper season for Charter Boats that carry a Federal Permit. This means those charter boats can legally take you fishing outside of State Waters ( State waters in Florida are the waters from the shoreline to 9nm offshore) These type of charters are held more accountable my federal fishing regulators and have to report what and where they catch. Our 37' Topaz, 28' Contender and 26' Twin Vee is in this category and is your best bet for catching the biggest and best quality of Red Snapper with Tradition Charters. These trips typically take you anywhere from 12-30 miles offshore.   

6-HR Trips on the Contender and Twin Vee are $1050 ( Price is good for 6 anglers)

8-HR Trips on the Contender and Twin Vee are $1250 ( Price is good for 6 anglers)

6-HR Trips on the 37' Topaz "Fever Reliever" are $1200 ( Price is good for 6 anglers)

8-HR Trips on the 37' Topaz "Fever Reliever are $1600 ( Price is good for 6 anglers)

June 17 2022 through July 31 2022  then a 12 day Fall Season Oct 8-9, Oct 15-16, Oct 22-23, Veterans Day Weekend Nov 11-13, and Thanksgiving Weekend Nov 25-27.

These are the dates for the Florida  State Water Season for Red Snapper. This season is for all charter boats that do not carry a federal permit. This is the rest of our fleet of bay boats with Tradition Fishing Charters. This season allows us to take our clients up to 9 nm from shore to catch the Red Snapper. We still catch lots of nice snapper on these types of trips but we are limited in a couple ways. Number one we are fishing out of smaller boats so we are a little more limited by the weather. Also we can only legally go a certain distance offshore so those fish will get more pressure on them from the recreational fisherman. For those reasons these charters are cheaper.

5 HR- Trips $750 ( Up to 4 anglers, $50 for each additional person i.e. 5 people $800, 6 people $850 )

6 HR- Trips $900 ( Up to 4 anglers, $50 for each additional person i.e. 5 people $950, 6 people $1000 )
