Our History
Tradition Fishing Charters was started out of a lifelong passion for deep sea and in shore fishing by Captain Miles Howell. Capt. Miles started fishing with his Dad at a very young age, competing and winning in local tournaments. Miles then started working as a deck hand in the local charter boat fleet while in high school. Capt. Miles quickly learned that he had a knack for showing people a good time on the water and enjoyed helping them catch fish. This was the beginning of what is now an expanding family charter fishing business. Meet The Captains
Captain Miles
Pensacola Native, Capt Miles Howell, grew up fishing the inshore and offshore waters of Perdido Key and the surrounding areas. He specializes in inshore and near shore fishing adventures for you and your family. Whether you're an experienced angler or fishing for the first time, Capt Miles will provide the tools and know how to put you on the fish.
Captain Willie
Capt. Willie Pitts has fished the Perdido Key and Pensacola area his entire life. His extensive knowledge of the fishery in and around the area is second to none. Capt. Willie always makes sure your trip is fun, safe, and with lots of action!!!
Captain Mike
Capt. Mike is a lifelong resident and fisherman of the Pensacola area. Capt. Mike not only has lots of time on the water but also has an extensive customer service background. This combination is what makes Capt. Mike a great addition to our Tradition Charters Team!!!

Born and raised in Pensacola Captain James Spires has a wealth of experience and knowledge of our local waters that will lead to an amazing experience on our pristine waters. Whether youre a novice or avid angler targeting anything from Speckled Trout to Red Snapper Captain James will make sure you get hooked up!
